A good plan starts with what your mouth needs, what can be preserved and what you want to improve.

Full-arch rehabilitation
When many teeth are missing, worn or heavily restored, we assess the whole mouth: teeth, gums, bite and existing restorations. Rehabilitation may be supported by natural teeth, implants, or a combination of both. A full-mouth plan does not automatically mean removing every tooth.
For implant-supported rehabilitation, the number and position of implants and the prosthesis design depend on the diagnosis. Dental implants
If you are considering dental implants in Spain, the first question is whether they are appropriate for you. We review gum health, available bone, your medical history and the teeth that can be retained before discussing surgery.
Healing is a clinical stage, not a gap to squeeze into a holiday. Bone regeneration or other additional procedures, when indicated, can change the number of visits and the overall timetable.

Veneers
Veneers can change the appearance of suitable teeth, including their shape and colour. We discuss your goals alongside the condition of your teeth, your bite and alternatives such as whitening or orthodontics where appropriate.
Preparation depends on the tooth and the proposed restoration. Removing enamel is irreversible, and veneers need care and maintenance. We aim for a result that suits your face and your preferences, without promising a particular outcome.

Share the records you already have
Send us any available dental records, radiographs and photographs before the online consultation, following the sharing instructions provided by the clinic. Tell us what concerns you and which treatment you are considering. If you have no records, contact us anyway: we will explain what may be useful.
Meet us online
During a video consultation, we discuss your goals, the information available and possible treatment options. We also talk through an initial estimate, likely travel stages and how long you may need to stay in Barcelona. An online review helps us prepare; it cannot replace the examination and any necessary tests at the clinic.
Receive a written estimate
We prepare a written proposal covering the treatment being considered, its stages and the estimate. If it is not ready during the first call, or you would like more explanation, we can arrange another online meeting. The initial plan and estimate remain subject to the findings of the in-person assessment. Any changes should be discussed before treatment proceeds.
Attend the clinic in Barcelona
Once the proposed visits are agreed, you come to CHC for an examination and the necessary diagnostic checks. We confirm the plan with you before starting treatment. For full-arch rehabilitation or implants, surgery, healing, temporary restorations and definitive teeth may involve separate appointments or trips.
Keep in touch after returning home
We arrange follow-up calls and may ask you to send photographs to review progress. We explain the planned recalls and maintenance for your treatment. Remote contact supports follow-up; some checks, adjustments or complications need an in-person appointment, either back at CHC or with a suitable local clinician. We discuss this before you leave.
Plan around your care
For dental treatment abroad, a clear timetable matters as much as the first appointment. Before booking non-refundable travel, confirm the expected appointments and leave room for clinical changes.
Visits and recovery
Ask which stages require you to be in Barcelona, whether more than one trip is expected and what review is needed before you travel home. There is no single stay length or flight timetable that fits every treatment.
Costs and scope
Review what the estimate includes and what would change it. Discuss any additional treatment, adjustments, return appointments and travel costs before making your decision. Travel, accommodation and transfers are not described as included.
Aftercare at home
Keep your treatment information and agreed contact details. Confirm how to raise a concern, which maintenance visits you need and when local care may be appropriate. If you develop urgent symptoms, seek prompt care where you are rather than waiting for a photograph to be reviewed.

Questions before travelling
Can my first visit be an online consultation?
Yes. You can share existing records before a video call, so we can discuss your goals, possible treatment, the estimate and travel planning. A final diagnosis and definitive plan require the appropriate clinical assessment.
Can you give me a price before I travel?
We can discuss an initial estimate and send a written proposal based on the information available. If an examination reveals a different situation, the plan and estimate may change. We explain the changes before you decide whether to proceed.
Can full-arch implants be completed in one trip?
This cannot be promised in advance. Some patients may be suitable for temporary teeth at an early stage, but that is different from completing the definitive restoration. Healing, bone procedures and the treatment design determine the visits required.
Do all my remaining teeth need to be removed?
No. Full-mouth rehabilitation starts with assessing which teeth can reasonably be kept. Natural teeth, implants and different restorations may be combined within an individual plan.
What happens if I need help after returning home?
We stay in contact by phone and, when useful, photographs, and arrange the planned recalls. Remote contact does not replace every clinical check. Your plan should explain when you may need to return and how to obtain appropriate care locally.
