Dr. Pablo Roo Blanco is part of the team at CHC Clínica Dental Barcelona, where his clinical work focuses on full-mouth rehabilitation, veneers and digital dentistry. His approach brings together the appearance of the smile and the function of the teeth: how they look, how they fit together and how they contribute to chewing.
With a degree in Dentistry from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela and a master’s degree in Oral Rehabilitation from UIC Barcelona, he focuses on planning restorative treatments on natural teeth and implants. His clinical contributions at SOCE and SEPES reflect an interest in connecting virtual planning with decisions made in the consulting room.
He examines the relationship between the teeth, the bite and existing restorations to organise treatment as a whole, rather than as a collection of individual teeth.
When planning veneers and restorations, he combines the study of shape and proportions with the needs of the dentition and each patient’s goals.
He integrates digital records and virtual planning into rehabilitation cases. His conference contributions include work on surgical guides and full-mouth rehabilitation using a digital workflow.
Clinical approach
In oral rehabilitation, the appearance of the smile and the way the teeth bite together need to be studied together. Dr. Roo approaches full-mouth cases by considering which teeth can be preserved, the restorations required and the coordination of the different clinical stages.
When a case requires other disciplines, he works with the CHC team to coordinate rehabilitation with gum health, endodontics, orthodontics or implant treatment.
His focus on full-mouth rehabilitation allows him to assess needs affecting several teeth or both arches. The aim is to establish a coherent sequence from diagnosis to provisional restorations, when appropriate, and definitive treatment.
Planning veneer treatment is not simply a matter of choosing a shade. Pablo considers the relationship between shape, proportions and function to develop an aesthetic proposal suited to the patient’s mouth and preferences.
His use of digital tools reflects his interest in organising and explaining treatment. His clinical communications show specific applications in full-mouth rehabilitation and in planning guides supported by existing implants.

His clinical development focuses on connecting oral rehabilitation, aesthetics and digital planning. These areas link his postgraduate education to the topics he has presented at professional meetings.
Planning for both arches and coordination of the different restorative stages, with attention to function and the needs of each mouth.
Assessment of the smile and restorative options to consider the shape, colour and integration of each restoration within the whole.
Application of virtual planning to clinical rehabilitation cases, with an interest in digital records and coordination between implant and prosthetic treatment.
Scientific activity and conferences
Dr. Pablo Roo Blanco has contributed clinical communications on digital dentistry at SOCE and SEPES. His work addresses decisions involved in rehabilitation: how to use existing structures to plan a guide, and how to adapt the loading protocol when treating both arches.
Digital dentistry · Rehabilitation of both arches
The communication presented at SEPES describes a case combining a digital workflow with different loading strategies for each arch. This approach illustrates the importance of adapting the protocol to clinical conditions rather than proposing the same solution for every case.
